August Adventures: Forest School Fun, Family Picnics, and Exciting Updates!

Hello, fabulous followers and fellow nature enthusiasts!

I hope your summer holidays have been brimming with sunshine, laughter, and unforgettable moments as we venture into August! As we embrace this delightful time of year, I'm excited to share with you the latest updates and events happening in the world of Forest School fun and nature play.

Forest School Frenzy

Our Forest School stay and play sessions have been a hit! With an overwhelming response, we've added an extra session on Monday, 19th August, giving you the chance to join us in the Forest both at 10:30 am - 12 pm, and our original time of 1 pm. Additionally, mark your calendars for Saturday, 24th August, at 10:30 am - 12 pm, followed by a forest school family picnic in the park! Teddy bears and picnics are essential - let's share some sandwiches and create lasting memories together.

Community Connection

I've been spreading Forest School joy to holiday clubs in Manchester and Liverpool. I'll be back at Swanside Community Centre next week, providing exciting activities for the holiday club children. Catch me at Swanside Community Centre on Thursday, 22nd August in the morning, Friday, 23rd in the afternoon, and all day on Thursday, 29th August. Let's make some magical forest memories together!

Heartwarming Community Events

Recently, I led Downs Syndrome Liverpool's family fun day at the picturesque walled gardens of Growing Sudley. It was a day filled with heartwarming connections, as families and friends immersed themselves in the therapeutic garden, while the children enjoyed nature-inspired play and activities. Moments like these remind us of the beauty of togetherness and the wonders of nature.

Funding Success: Enhancing Forest School Experiences

Exciting news awaits as our funding applications to Knowsley Council have been successful! We are thrilled to be offering additional Forest School sessions for families with SEND children, as well as groups tailored for Home Educated children. Stay tuned for more details coming your way soon. Moreover, dates for our Let's Talk in the Trees sessions at Bowring Park will be released shortly. These sessions, fully funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, promise enriching experiences in the heart of nature.
